The Adventures of the 'Ruffled Pillow Shams" continues...

Remember my 'Pillow Making Marathon" a few weeks ago...

It started with the old drapes from my daughter, that I turned into beautiful pillow shams in this blog post: Bella Notte inspired pillow covers...

Then progressed to another set being made out of some old vintage, rubber back drapes in this blog post: Bella Notte inspired pillow shams "Part Deux" ~ with a crocheted edge...

Well, Diane at Lavender Dreams was inspired by the idea and created her own "Gorgeous" set for her bed out of a vintage tablecloth and lace...

They turned out "Lovely"...

She also made the cute little throw pillow on her bed too...

What a beautiful bed she created with a great 'repurposing' idea~!

I hope this inspires somebody else to create yet another gorgeous set, to keep the "Ruffled Pillow Sham" idea marching through blogland...!

  2. Oh, I love seeing your gorgeous pillow shams! What a beautiful bed you have with everything so romantic! I updated my post to include the link to this post, too. I hope the idea catches on! It's definitely something anyone could make and the nice thing about them, they will each one be unique! Sweet hugs my friend!

  5. Very nice! I like it! I am a sucker for vintage linens, fabric and have tons of lace just hanging around. Just as soon as I get my sewing machine running, I'm gonna give this a try. I'm now a follower. Stopped by via Lavender Dreams.
