Little "Swayzee's" rag quilt is done...

I woke up this morning, had coffee with the tribe~
(The tribe = all the contractors that stop in to drink coffee)...

I was sitting there thinking I would start the new Grandbabies quilt "Tomorrow"...

You know "Tomorrow"...
It's that mythical land where 99% of all human productivity, motivation and achievement is stored...
Um' Ya~

I thought of that and decided the best way to get done is just to get started. So, in between all the skuttle of the day and all of the company in and out, I got it done...

We always get alot of company when it's snowing outside.
(5"... Merry Christmas!)
We're where they go when they get snowed in. Except, they go out to get in here... lol ~
Did you follow that?

Anyway ~ it took me about 5 hours and the pictures don't do it justice (dark room), but I just had to share - it's a cute little stripey rag quilt.

I feel accomplished ~ !

I just have a carseat cover to go and my daughter can have the baby!
(I have her on autopilot until I get finished. She's just waiting on me & I have been a procrastinator!)

And...
This Grandma gets "Saige Duty" when the new baby comes~ !
I love my little Ms. Boohoo...
My 2 year old Granddaughter Saige.
who's soon to have a little 'Swayzee' sister...

Ms. Swayzee Mae's rag quilt...

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through...

  4. Oh the fabric is adorable... Especially the white - I got it on the clearance rack for $2 a yard and it's scrappy anyway, so it turned out fabulous...
Can't wait to see your next "quilting" adventure for inspiration~!
    Hope you enjoy the sunshine...
