Vintage Find ~ Milk House Glasses...

I would love to say I spent ' a gaggle ' on these cute little "Milk House Glasses."

~But, I would be a liar~

I needed a few glasses and thought about getting a few at the dollar store the other day. But, I had our Grandson with me and it seemed like a difficult task ~ getting glasses home with a 3 year old and the 3 year old's balloon in toe...

I popped in our local thrift store on Saturday and they had 6 of these darling "Milk House Glasses" for a quarter a piece = $1.50 for 6... jeeze ~ last of the big spenders here...

(Of course I scoured the place attempting to locate the Milk House Pitcher that matches the set, with no luck and to no avail ~ darn...)

How could anybody resist?

They have this wonderful, greenish, vintage charm~

Besides, who could ever not want cows on your drinking glasses?

I almost ordered me the same glasses around Christmas online. I'm so happy I waited. The thrift store is sort of like beach combing for me, only I have to take quarters because things aren't completely free...

~But Close~

Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk in vintage looking 'Milk House Glasses' at about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap...

I'll have a White Macadamia Nut Cookie, or Three~!

  1. You're right about the beach combing analogy! Your glasses are charming. :)

  2. Love your glasses- I didn't know they had a name, now I know.

Thank you for your comments...
I love to hear from you~!
