Contemplating Crystal Sconce Lighting for the Bathroom~

I'm getting close to being 'tentatively' done with the bathroom for now - Yay~!

I ran out of paint on the final door. Don't you hate when that happens? It's too late tonight to worry about it. I'll tackle it this week. In the meantime, I've been contemplating lighting and I'm really leaning toward chrome and crystal sconces at the sides of the mirror and a flush mount crystal light for the ceiling.

Currently, there is a horizontal 3 light vanity light above the mirror. I can't wait to throw it away. The 'Man-Child' is going to run a couple new electrical outlets, one on each side of the mirror that connect to the old vanity light and we'll terminate the horizontal light. But, 1 light switch will still control both sconces. I'm no electrician, so if I described that wrong, I apologize. All I know is that it's going to have to be done in a couple weeks, we're out of time right now. We left the old vanity light in place until we can get it finished.

Since everything in here is 'shiny chrome,' I was thinking of some sconce lights like this. For some reason this rustic 'Western Jen' (as the 'Man-Child calls it) bathroom is screaming at me for some type of roaring 20's type 'chunky' crystal lighting?

But, I don't want to pay the $183.99 for each sconce ~ yikes~!

That seems crazy priced to me, but we all know I"M CHEAP. As I was looking at some pics, I seen these next type sconces and they seem that they would be really easy to DIY with some of my vintage crystals?

So, I'm on the lookout for a couple of cheaper 'sconce' type frames to make my own 'bling' for the bathroom. It seems to me it would be as easy as drilling some holes in the frame and hanging some crystals. The main thing would be a sconce frame that is wider than a light bulb so the crystals would hang straight. Goodness, it could even be plastic frames, would anybody even know? I'll let you know what I come up with in a future blog post...

And, I'm considering a flush mount type chandelier, something like this to go with the sconces  for the ceiling light.  I know, it seems really crazy to put really fancy lighting in there with that rusty, crusty, currogated steel sheeting,. But, in another way, it's a really awesome idea. Kind of a 'Western, Eclectic, Blingy' Jen type room.

*Ya, I'm giggling trying to explain it...*

Irregardless of what lighting I put in, it's so, so, nice to have a newly remodeled bathroom.
 I feel so grateful.
I am all smiles about it.

And, I'm thrilled I could use so much repurposed stuff and so many clearance finds to keep the cost so low.
