(Oops - the door is still 'frog taped - lol)
I'm trying to get all I can done before the "Man-Child" gets home, so I can convince him to help me move all of the big furniture to get this finished. Although, 'half-done' doesn't bother him as much as it does me, so some initial begging might be needed...

The biggest change, that has been the most shocking, is the mornings.
I AM NOT a morning person. I'm a night owl.
When 4:30 a.m. rolls around, the sun coming up starts to cast a bright light, like someone rolled my bedroom out onto a casting call full of bright lights. It is the damnedest thing ever.
It just lights right up~!
By the time I used to get up (around 7) it is gleaming in here~!
And, afternoon time - well, it's just 'Angelic'...
And, I LOVE IT~!
A huge, remarkable difference...
It is amazing the change...
I'm thinking about installing a trim right below the ceiling rail...
Do you think it needs one?
And, I already drug out a garbage bag full of sheer yard sale curtains to dream with ~ see the 'heaping mound' on the bed?
I can't wait to get this done and see the chandelier finished next week~!
I love it! I can just see those sheers hung round the bed. What your guy will think, I don't know :-) Just me, but most darker rooms depress me. The lighter and airier, the better, in my book. Can't wait to see what it looks like when you are done.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how a little bit of paint can change the whole look of a room. I really do like the light and airy feel that you are getting with the new color!!! Way to go!!! Can't wait to see the new chandelier... :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've turned on the light in your room! Lovely my friend!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beauty! I love the bed! What a wonderful (and hard work) project you have!
ReplyDeleteAll the best and good luck
