I would love to say I spent ' a gaggle ' on these cute little "Milk House Glasses."
~But, I would be a liar~
I needed a few glasses and thought about getting a few at the dollar store the other day. But, I had our Grandson with me and it seemed like a difficult task ~ getting glasses home with a 3 year old and the 3 year old's balloon in toe...
I popped in our local thrift store on Saturday and they had 6 of these darling "Milk House Glasses" for a quarter a piece = $1.50 for 6... jeeze ~ last of the big spenders here...
(Of course I scoured the place attempting to locate the Milk House Pitcher that matches the set, with no luck and to no avail ~ darn...)
How could anybody resist?
They have this wonderful, greenish, vintage charm~
Besides, who could ever not want cows on your drinking glasses?
I almost ordered me the same glasses around Christmas online. I'm so happy I waited. The thrift store is sort of like beach combing for me, only I have to take quarters because things aren't completely free...
~But Close~
I'll have a White Macadamia Nut Cookie, or Three~!

You're right about the beach combing analogy! Your glasses are charming. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your glasses- I didn't know they had a name, now I know.
